Ilkka advises companies and governmental agencies on national and EC competition and marketing law issues, including merger control, abuse of dominant position, cartels, state aid and public procurement.
Ilkka also litigates on a regular basis before the Finnish Market Court and the European Commission.

Ilkka has advised numerous domestic and foreign clients in M&A transactions and cooperation arrangements.

Before joining B&K, Ilkka was a local partner at the Helsinki office of an international law firm, as well as the head of its competition law practice. Ilkka has also worked for Finnish Competition Authority and the Merger Task Force of the European Commission.

Ilkka has been a B&K partner since 2005. He heads the firm's Antitrust and Marketing Law practice group.
