Maria practises in the field of mergers and acquisitions with particular emphasis on venture capital and intellectual property.

She is experienced in PE/VC- and cross-border transactions, IP commercialization, R&D and ICT-related agreements as well as general contract and corporate law.

Maria has been the co-head of the firm's Technology Transactions practice group in 2007-2009 and head of IPAM® services in 2006.

Maria received an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law from King’s College London in 2004. Prior to joining B&K, she worked for another major Finnish law firm.
