Hannu advises on both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property and information technology as well as contract law related matters. He has extensive experience of IT contracts, technology transfer and licensing (including open source software licensing). He also regularly assists in transactions involving technology, data protection and intellectual property matters.

Hannu has acted in a number of patent cases, for instance in the fields of information technology, electronics and construction.

Hannu holds a master of science in computer science with a specialisation in software engineering, in addition to his law degree. He has also studied intellectual property law and European Union law at the University of Leicester in England.

Hannu has been a Specialist Partner since 2011.
