Asko Lindqvist heads the Public Procurement and Regulated Markets practices at B&K.

Asko advises on M&A transactions and contract law with particular emphasis on EU and competition law issues.

Asko has represented both domestic and foreign clients in numerous merger filings under the EC and the Finnish merger control regimes. He has also represented clients in competition law proceedings before the Finnish Competition Authority and the Market Court in connection with complaints and investigations. 

In 1997, Asko completed an interim traineeship at the media unit of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition, after which he worked as a telecommunications consultant in Brussels.

Asko holds a post-graduate degree in law from the University of Maastricht.

Prior to joining B&K, Asko worked for an international electronics contract manufacturer in Singapore and Hong Kong. 

Asko has been a specialist partner since 2008.
