Ulla von Weissenberg advises on all aspects of international maritime and transport law and related insurance issues. She is also experienced in issues relating to shipbuilding and ship purchase. Ulla litigates frequently before courts and arbitral tribunals.

Prior to joining B&K, Ulla was a partner at Aminoff & Weissenberg, Attorneys Ltd. She has worked in the shipping industry with legal matters since 1994.

Ulla is a member of the Finnish Maritime Law Association (CMI), the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA Vice-President of the Transport Law Commission 2006-2009), the Institute of Maritime and Commercial law of the Åbo Akademi (board member 2008-), Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association in Finland (WISTA Ry, board member 2008-) and member of the Legal Society in Finland.

Together with Jan Aminoff, Ulla heads the Shipping, Transportation and Insurance practises of B&K.

Ulla has been a B&K specialist partner since 2009.
