Ilkka Aalto-Setälä joins Borenius & Kemppinen as head of Antitrust and Marketing law practise
Ilkka Aalto-Setälä has been invited as partner and the head of the antitrust and marketing law practice group of Borenius & Kemppinen as of 30 August 2005.
In the past, Ilkka Aalto-Setälä has served as a competition lawyer at the Finnish Competition Authority, the Merger Task Force of the EU Commission and, most recently, as a local partner at White & Case Helsinki Office.
According to Chambers Global, Ilkka Aalto-Setälä is considered to be the first tier antitrust lawyer in Finland. Ilkka Aalto-Setälä's tasks in recent years have included notifications of a number of international corporate transactions before the European Commission and counseling in antitrust, marketing, state aid and public procurement matters. Aalto-Setälä is also the chairman of the Finnish Competition Law Association.
