Reach Approaching
The REACH regulation (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) creates a uniform EU system for the registration, evaluation and authorisations regarding chemicals that are manufactured or imported to EU area in quantities exceeding 1000 kg (1 tonne) per annum. As a part of the REACH process, a EU Chemicals Agency is founded in Helsinki and is starting its activities in the beginning of June 2007.
