Real Estate Transactions: Citycon deal description

Citycon, the property investment company specialising in retail premises and the market leaser in the shopping centre business in Finland, sold 75 non-core commercial properties to a Kenmore Property Group Limited fund. The debt-free sale price of the properties was EUR 74 million. The gain on sale was EUR 7.5 million in accordance with IFRS, based on fair values on 31 March 2006. All of the sold-off properties with a gross leasable area of 77,000 square meters are located in Finland. B&K’s role was the preparation and co-ordination of the data room procedure and drafting and negotiations of the Sale and Purchase Agreement.

The total deal value was EUR 74 million.
