Real Estate Transactions: Acquisition of Iso Omena Shopping Centre

Citycon Oyj, the Finnish publicly listed investment company concentrating exclusively on retail premises, has signed an agreement with funds managed by Doughty Hanson & Co Real Estate on the acquisition of the Iso Omena shopping centre in Espoo, Finland (Helsinki Metropolitan Area) for approximately EUR 329 million. Following the acquisition, Iso Omena will be Citycon’s largest shopping centre.

B&K assisted Citycon Oyj in performing a legal due diligence of the target, commenting the sale and purchase agreement, and negotiating the sale and purchase agreement.

The deal value is EUR 329 million (enterprise value).
