Ab Forum Capita Oy

B&K advised Ab Forum Capita Oy, as the General Partner, in establishing a new real estate fund, Forum Fastighets Kb. The assets of the fund include real estate companies located in the Forum block in Helsinki city centre. The debt free value of the real estate assets is EUR 490 million. The total amount of rental space is 70,000m².

Forum is one of the biggest shopping centres in Helsinki with 14 million visitors in 2007 and sales totalling EUR 155 million. The former owners of the real estate companies became limited partners in the real estate fund.

B&K drafted the fund agreements and related documents and acted as the tax advisor for the transaction.
