Borenius’ Partner Juha Koponen Selected Fellow of the American Bar Foundation
Borenius is pleased to announce that Partner Juha Koponen has been selected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. Membership in The Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction in the United States and to no more than 300 Fellows internationally located outside the United States. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation. Mr. Koponen is only the second lawyer in Finland to be nominated as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Juha heads the Capital Markets practice at Borenius with a focus on large international capital markets offerings. He also works on M&A and private equity matters assisting mainly U.S. based clients. He also writes and lectures extensively on Finnish capital markets and M&A matters in international publications and seminars.
