Borenius Wins the Most Innovative National Finnish Firm of the Year Title at IFLR Europe Awards
We are excited to announce that we have been awarded the title of Most Innovative National Firm of the Year 2019 for Finland at the International Financial Law Review (“IFLR”) Europe Awards. The awards are an annual celebration of legally innovative teams and deals in Europe, and they are based on preliminary research and submissions.
This award speaks for our ability to drive and execute the most innovative and complex cross-border deals on the Finnish market, such as:
- Advising PKC Group on Motherson Sumi’s EUR 571 million recommended offer
- Advising the lenders on the EUR 1.01 billion financing for the acquisition of Mehiläinen by CVC
- Advising the underwriters on the EUR 876 million IPO of Terveystalo by EQT
This award further exemplifies our drive to promote innovation in everything we do. One of the keys to our success is our commitment to sharing our thought leadership not simply within our organisation but also with our clients. We are confident that this enables us to provide more innovative answers to those legal questions that we may face tomorrow.
The IFLR, a Euromoney publication, is the market-leading financial law publication for lawyers in financial institutions, corporates and private practice. As the only publication to focus exclusively on global financial markets, deals and regulatory development, IFLR’s Annual Awards are the benchmark of excellence in the field.
