“Borenius has very strong expertise in the energy sector and is one of Finland’s leading advisors in this field. Bringing my experience to the firm will complement Borenius’ range of services and expertise. We aim to take a leading role in expanding the field of energy law practice in Finland. It was a natural choice for me to join this team.” Kristiina Leppänen, Borenius’ incoming Senior Advisor.
“We have always been strongly involved in transactions in the energy sector. Our representation of Fortum and E.ON in the divestment of their Gasum Oy holdings, is one recent example. The energy sector will experience significant market changes and investments creating numerous arrangements and projects in the near future. This calls for more energy sector specialisation among the top law firms. The recruitment of Kristiina is part of our decision to invest heavily in strengthening our energy sector capabilities.”Jari Vikiö, Managing Partner.
