Recap of The Nordic Market 2016 And Get Together Breakfast

On January 11, 2017, Borenius hosted a breakfast to discuss last year’s market activity and next year’s anticipated trends in Finland and the Nordics.

Borenius’ partners Juha Koponen and Jari Vikiö reviewed some of the major transactions in capital markets and public M&A in the Nordics, and their role in many of the leading Finnish transactions of 2016. These included, for example, two completed tender offers, the largest IPO in Finland in a decade, and several other cross-border deals. With this and the generally anticipated market and regulatory conditions for 2017 in mind, the conversation moved towards what to expect in 2017.
