100 Days of New Administration – Outlook And Impacts to Your Business and International Trade
On April 21, 2017, Borenius and the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce in New York hosted a reception at Borenius’ NY office where guest speakers openly evaluated the Trump Administration so far and their effect on America’s trade relationships.
This unique round table discussion was driven by experts on international political economy and trade Manu Virtamo, Consul General of Finland in New York, and Anu Bradford, Professor and Director from the European Legal Studies Center at the Columbia Law School. The lively interchange between the panellists and guests covered topics, such as materialized and expected policy changes from the new Administration, their effect on free trade, generally and specifically in the context with Finland, and actions business may take in reaction or anticipation thereof.
The discussion was reported on MTV3 news and interviews of Manu and Anu were aired on MTV3 news (here). The interviews of Manu and Anu were made on our terrace next to the seminar space.
