Borenius’ Competition Team Ranked Elite by GCR 100 – 17th Edition Finland
Borenius’ Competition & Public Procurement team has maintained its position in the Elite category in The Global Competition Review’s (GCR) recent Finland survey. The other ranking categories are “Highly Recommended” and “Recommended”.
According to the publication, Borenius continues to impress with its caseload and its active merger practice, even in the face of deep financial trouble in the country. The team is led by Partner Ilkka Aalto-Setälä and joined by Partner Asko Lindqvist.
According to the publication, Borenius has secured a prominent position in the follow-on damage claims against members of the alleged asphalt cartel – the highest-profile private antitrust case in the country. Other major cases of the group include advising Matkahuolto and the Finnish Bus and Coach Association against allegations of a bus and coach cartel in the country by Finland’s competition enforcer.
The GCR 100: a guide to the world’s leading competition law and economics practices provides readers with extensive qualitative analysis of antitrust groups in jurisdictions around the world. This year the publication covers 300 firms in 50 jurisdictions.
