Lauri Mäihäniemi

Lauri advises clients on a broad range of technology, data and intellectual property matters, including disputes in these areas. He focuses in particular on the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape governing data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, advising on compliance, risk management and contracts.

Lauri joined Borenius in 2026. Prior to joining the firm as an associate, he gained experience as a trainee at the firm, as well as at other Finnish business law firms and a leading Finnish employers’ confederation. Lauri holds a law degree from the University of Helsinki and has additionally studied law at the University of Lyon Jean Moulin in France.
