Borenius advised 4finance Group on its USD 200 million high-yield bond issuance

We advised 4finance Group in connection with an offering of USD 200 million of senior guaranteed high-yield notes to international investors. Credit Suisse acted as the sole bookrunner.

4finance Group is one of the largest online providers of small unsecured consumer loans in Europe. With the head office in Riga, Latvia, 4finance Group currently operates in 12 countries – Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Georgia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia and Russia. In Finland, 4finance Oy mainly operates under the brands “vivus.fi” and “onnen.fi.”

Borenius acted as the Latvian, Finnish and Lithuanian counsel to 4finance Group. Partner Juha Koponen led the Helsinki based team, advising on Finnish law issues and the team also included Specialist Partner Johannes Ahti (finance), Senior Associate Sanna Lindqvist (tax) and Associates Susanna Karlsson (intellectual property) and Sampo Kättö (capital markets).
