Borenius advised CapMan in relation to CapMan Collection, a new type of fund of funds investing indirectly in real estate and private equity

We represented the private equity firm CapMan in its cooperation arrangements with Eufex Fund Administration Ltd, a part of Elite Group and the manager of CapMan Collection, a new non-UCITS fund of funds. CapMan Collection invests mainly in funds managed by CapMan, and it is the first Finnish fund open to a broader investor base and offering the opportunity to indirectly invest in unlisted companies and real estate.

With a relatively low minimum investment, the fund is accessible to smaller investors, whereas, typically, the asset class has been within the reach of institutional investors only. At the same time, the fund offers more liquidity than normal closed-end private equity and private equity real estate funds.
