Borenius advised Discovery Communications Inc in relation to their acquisition of the SBS Nordic Operations of ProSiebenSat.1 Group

We advised Discovery Communications Inc as local counsel in Finland in relation to their acquisition of the SBS Nordic Operations of ProSiebenSat.1 Group. The acquisition of SBS, which has an enterprise value of $1.7 billion (€1.325 billion) includes 12 television networks in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, among other assets, and further solidifies Discovery’s long-term growth in the strong Nordic TV markets. The transaction has been subject to regulatory review and was completed 9 April 2013
