Borenius advised Kesko Food during negotiations for a master license to the Starbucks concept

We advised Kesko Food during negotiations for a licensing agreement to the Starbucks concept to open Starbucks stores within K-stores throughout Finland. We also assisted Kesko Food in drafting agreements pertaining to the operation of Starbucks coffee shops by Kesko traders.

Kesko is a listed trading sector company and one of Finland’s two leading retailers with key operators in the grocery channel. Kesko’s operations include the food, home and speciality goods, building and home improvement, and car and machinery trades. Kesko has approximately 2,000 stores in the Nordics and in the Baltic region, Russia and Belarus.
