Borenius advised Nordic Science Investments as it joins forces with Taaleri

We advised the founders of Nordic Science Investments (NSI) on a transaction under which Taaleri will acquire a 51 per cent ownership stake in NSI. Partnering with Taaleri is aimed to strengthen NSI’s ability to support its portfolio companies beyond the earliest stages, extends its reach and to position NSI for further growth. The transaction is in line with Taaleri’s vision of being a preferred partner for investors and collaborators and to expand to new fund strategies.

NSI is a Finnish venture capital fund manager that raised its first fund, NSI Nordic Science I, in 2024. So far NSI invested in 22 early stage science-driven companies in Finland, Sweden and the Baltic countries. NSI’s portfolio companies develop, among other things, health technologies, life sciences, advanced materials and AI-driven solutions.

NSI founders will continue in their operational roles. The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
