Borenius advised Technopolis in EUR 125 million joint venture
We advised Technopolis in a EUR 125 million joint venture transaction with Osuuskunta KPY, in which the Kuopio business of Technopolis consisting of approx. 67,000 m² of modern office premises in Kuopio, Finland, was transferred to the ownership of Technopolis Kuopio Oy, which is owned by Technopolis and KPY on a 60/40 basis. The deal includes a management agreement that will keep the Technopolis team and its brand in control of the Kuopio campuses for the next 10 years.

The Osuuskunta KPY Group consists of KPY Sijoitus Oy, Enfo Oyj, Voimatel Oy, Vetrea Terveys Oy and Kiinteistö Oy Siilinjärven Lentokapteeni. In 2014, Osuuskunta KPY Group recorded net sales of EUR 323.6 million and employed almost 1,900 people.
