Borenius successfully represented Vattenfall AB (publ) in an international multi-party arbitration concerning wind power

We successfully represented our client, Vattenfall AB (publ), in an international multi-party arbitration concerning agreements on the sale of electricity and the provision of balancing services in the wind power industry.

Following a full evidentiary hearing, the three-member arbitral tribunal dismissed the counterparties’ significant claims in their entirety, substantially upheld Vattenfall’s counterclaim, and ordered the counterparties to compensate Vattenfall for its legal costs.

The award brought a highly successful conclusion to the arbitration for our client.
