Established in 1911
The story of Borenius began in 1911, when two young lawyers, Cajus Holma and Ilmari Palmén, embarked on a journey that would shape the future of legal practice in Finland. They founded Attorneys-at-Law Palmén & Holma – a firm specialising in family, inheritance, and insurance law. A few years later, Palmén departed, paving the way for Heikki Borenius Sr. to join as a partner, and the firm was reborn as Attorneys-at-Law Holma & Borenius.
