Anna Ahava

Anna specialises in indirect taxation, with particular focus on VAT matters. She advises both international and domestic clients on a variety of indirect tax issues, including compliance, tax audits, disputes, cross-border transactions and M&A transactions across various industry sectors.

Anna joined Borenius in 2025, and before that she worked at another major Finnish law firm’s tax team as an associate and at Deloitte’s indirect tax team as a tax adviser.

In addition to her law degree from the University of Helsinki, Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (International Business) from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
