About Jussi

Jussi is an expert in labour law with extensive experience in both domestic and cross-border corporate arrangements and the related employment issues and processes. He has gained expertise in domestic and international labour law through his work in the HR department of a large company, as well as during his long career at another prominent law firm. Jussi has worked with companies of various sizes across different industries.

Jussi assists our domestic and international clients with a wide range of labour law matters, including contract drafting, co-determination processes, domestic and cross-border corporate restructurings, contentious termination situations, labour disputes, negotiations, workplace investigations, occupational safety offences, data protection issues in the workplace, and employee representation matters. He advises clients on matters ranging from day-to-day employment issues to strategic labour law projects.

In addition to his client work, Jussi is actively involved in labour law education and training. He has delivered training sessions for the Helsinki Chamber of Commerce and HAY, and has lectured at the university level.

Defended the senior management of a Finnish listed company against criminal charges arising from an alleged breach of cooperation consultation obligations.
Advised a listed medical technology company on a cross-border executive appointment, navigating multi-jurisdictional employment law, taxation, and corporate governance requirements, and on contentious termination negotiations involving an executive management-level employee.
Advised S-Pankki on the employment law aspects of its voluntary recommended public cash tender offer for Oma Säästöpankki, including workforce integration and regulatory compliance considerations.
Advised an international engineering group on establishing its Finnish employment law infrastructure in connection with a major construction project, covering employment documentation, collective agreement analysis, working time arrangements, subcontractor and labour agency matters, and business immigration, as well as providing strategic advice during a cross-border employment relations dispute.
Designed and conducted a dawn raid simulation for a multinational technology company’s Finnish operations, preparing key personnel for potential authority inspections across employment law, occupational health and safety, and business immigration matters.
