Borenius advised a fund in the acquisition of the minority of the outstanding shares in Riihimäen Kaukolämpö Oy

We advised a fund managed by Standard Life Aberdeen plc in the acquisition of the minority (49%) of the outstanding shares in Riihimäen Kaukolämpö Oy, a supplier of district heating and natural gas solutions.

The shares were acquired from the City of Riihimäki, which remains as the majority shareholder with a 51% ownership of the outstanding shares in Riihimäen Kaukolämpö Oy.

The acquisition was funded through SL Capital Infrastructure II SCSp as a part of a larger Europe-wide investment portfolio. This was Standard Life Aberdeen plc’s second investment in infrastructure in Finland.
