Borenius advised Citycon on the EUR 16 million sale of Sampokeskus shopping centre to Trevian

We advised Citycon on the EUR 16 million sale of Sampokeskus shopping centre to special investment fund Trevian Finland Properties I. Sampokeskus is a four-storey shopping centre located in Rovaniemi, consisting of 14,400 square metres of leasable area and 67 tenants.

Citycon is a leading owner, manager and developer of urban, grocery-anchored shopping centres in the Nordic region, managing assets that total approximately EUR 4.5 billion. Citycon is the No. 1 shopping centre owner in Finland and among the market leaders in Norway, Sweden and Estonia. Citycon has also established a foothold in Denmark.

Trevian Finland Properties I invests in different types of commercial real estate offering good cash flow and development potential in Finnish growth centres. The fund is continuously looking for further investment opportunities matching its investment strategy. After the acquisition, the fund’s portfolio consists of 167,659 square metres of leasable area and 506 tenants.
