Borenius advised Eden Living in its investment in 41 rental apartments in Laajasalo, Helsinki

We advised Eden Living in its investment in a build-to-rent residential development project in the Laajasalo district of Helsinki, Finland. The property, located in a rapidly developing area, will comprise 41 high-quality apartments. Once the Crown Bridges light rail connection is completed in the near future, the location will provide a new level of accessibility with fast and convenient connections to the city centre.

Designed for everyday comfort, each apartment is equipped with a cooling system and a glazed balcony. The property will also feature shared amenities including a laundry room, sauna and club spaces. The Laajasalo area offers a wide range of services, such as grocery stores, restaurants, schools, a health centre and sports facilities. The area also caters for active outdoor enthusiasts with its green spaces and closeness to the sea. The EPC A-rated, energy-efficient building will be EU Taxonomy aligned and heated using geothermal energy.

Construction work starts immediately, and the property will be constructed by Jatke Uusimaa Oy. The property is expected to be completed in 2027.
