Borenius advised Fleming Properties AB in one of the largest office lease extensions completed in Finland

We advised Fleming Properties AB as it entered into an addendum to the lease agreement with Suomen Osuuskauppojen Keskuskunta (SOK) regarding its head office in Helsinki, Finland. The agreement extends the lease term by 10 years to 31 December 2040.

The lease covers approximately 34,400 square metres of office and business premises, as well as approximately 400 parking spaces. The extension secures contracted rental income of approximately EUR 83 million over the remaining lease term.

The properties have been modernised to meet today’s office requirements and are carbon-neutral, holding the BREEAM Very Good environmental certification. Management is carried out within the framework of the Colony Hybrid Offices letting concept.
