Borenius advised Oma Savings Bank Plc on its EUR 250 million covered bond issue

We advised Oma Savings Bank Plc (Oma Säästöpankki Oyj) when it issued EUR 250 million covered bonds under its EUR 1.5 billion Covered Bond and Senior Unsecured Bond Programme on 1 April 2020. The listing of the bonds will commence on Nasdaq Helsinki on 14 April 2020.

The joint lead managers of the issue were Nordea Bank Abp, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg.

This transaction constitutes one of the very few Finnish bond issues to have taken place so far since the COVID-19 outbreak.

OmaSp is a growing Finnish bank and the largest savings bank in Finland based on total assets. Approximately 300 professionals provide nationwide services through OmaSp’s 32 branch offices and digital service channels to 140,000 private and corporate customers.
