Borenius advised Tesi in its investment into a TNT production facility

We advised Suomen Teollisuussijoitus Oy (Tesi) in its investment in the project company developing a new TNT production facility in Finland, where FORCIT is the majority owner. With currently limited TNT production capacity in Europe, the project – initiated by the Ministry of Defence in 2024 – plays an important role in strengthening the security of Finland and Europe as a whole.

The project is being developed in strong cooperation with the defence administration, the authorities and local communities, and the impacts of the project on defence and military security of supply as well as employment will be significant.

Tesi is Finland’s state-owned investment company that invests on market terms in venture capital and private equity funds as well as directly in Finnish startups and growth companies. FORCIT is a Finnish explosives company with more than 130 years of experience offering products and services for the civilian and defence sectors.
