Borenius represented buyers in arbitration concerning M&A dispute

Our Litigation and Arbitration team represented owners of a well-known Finnish company in arbitration concerning enforcement of a non-competition obligation against one of the sellers of the shares in the said company. The non-competition obligation was set forth in the share purchase agreement relating to the sale and purchase of the said company and a breach of the obligation was sanctioned with a significant contractual penalty. The arbitration was conducted under the arbitration rules of the Finland Chamber of Commerce.
