Borenius Strengthens Its Expertise with Three New Partners

We are thrilled to announce that Ben Fallström, Eino Järnroos and Jenni Heurlin have joined the Borenius partnership, as of 1 January 2026, bringing expertise across finance, M&A and competition law.

Ben has extensive experience in advising financial institutions, credit funds, sponsors and borrowers on both domestic and cross-border financing and debt capital markets transactions across a wide range of sectors and asset classes. He has a strong focus on and market-leading experience of project financing, including energy and infrastructure projects.

Eino is a dual-qualified (Finland and New York) transactional lawyer focusing on M&A, private equity and capital markets transactions. He also has versatile experience from equity investments, joint ventures and corporate finance transactions. Eino acts in both domestic and cross-border deals, with an emphasis on those involving U.S. and Nordic interests.

Jenni joined as Partner and Head of our EU & Competition team. She advises clients on all aspects of EU and Finnish competition law, including merger control, compliance, investigations, proceedings before the competition authorities and courts, as well as state aid and regulatory issues, such as foreign direct investment screening. In addition to nearly a decade in private practice, Jenni has gained valuable experience handling competition matters in-house at a large Finnish corporate.
