Elias Laine

Elias advises clients on M&A, growth equity and venture capital related matters. He also advises clients on management incentive structures and the administration of incentive schemes.

Elias joined Borenius as a Senior Associate in 2026. Prior to this, Elias worked for four years at a Finnish listed wealth management and insurance company, where he focused on portfolio management, particularly growth equity investments and equity-based incentive schemes. Before that, he worked on transactional and private equity matters at another leading Finnish law firm.

Elias also advises extensively on corporate governance matters and mandates involving financial regulation.

In addition to his studies at the University of Helsinki, Elias is currently studying Accounting at Hanken School of Economics.
