Janna Järvinen

Janna advises clients on a broad range of M&A, venture capital and growth equity related matters.

Janna has significant experience in advising private equity and venture capital sponsors, investee companies and industrial clients on a wide range of corporate transactions and restructurings, including acquisitions, divestments, investment rounds, carve-outs, continuation vehicle transactions, mergers and demergers. Her expertise encompasses both cross-border and domestic transactions across multiple industry sectors.

Beyond her transaction-related expertise, Janna advises clients on corporate, commercial and contract law. She has particular experience in providing advice on employee incentive programmes, from share-based incentive models to synthetic instruments.

Janna joined Borenius as an Associate in 2022. Prior to that, she worked as a trainee at Borenius and has also gained experience as a trainee at other business law firms and at the Finnish Patent and Registration Office. In addition to her law studies at the University of Helsinki, she has studied law as an exchange student at Lund University in Sweden.
