Jill Winter

Jill advises our clients primarily on assignments related to banking and finance. She has extensive experience in advising financial institutions, sponsors and corporate borrowers on domestic and cross-border financing arrangements, with a particular focus on bank lending and debt capital markets transactions.

Jill’s practice covers a broad range of financing matters, including general corporate lending, real estate financing, leveraged finance, restructurings and structured finance. She also regularly advises on bond issuances across the credit spectrum, from high yield to investment grade.

Jill joined Borenius as an Associate in 2020. She has also gained valuable in-house experience from working as a visiting legal counsel at Danske Bank A/S, which has provided her with practical insight into the legal, commercial, and operational aspects of loan and debt capital markets transactions.

In addition to her Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Helsinki, Jill holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Hanken School of Economics.
