About Louna

Louna advises clients primarily in matters related to data protection and privacy. Louna is experienced in a wide range of matters related to data protection compliance, including preparing compliance documentation, resolving issues related to transfers of personal data and personal data breaches, as well as correspondence with authorities, such as responding to requests for clarification from the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.

In addition to data protection assignments, Louna is frequently involved in various IT transactions and M&A transactions, including carve-out arrangements related to M&A transactions, as well as matters related to emerging regulatory frameworks, including the Data Act and the NIS2 Directive.

Before joining Borenius in 2017, Louna worked as a consultant at a company specialised in data protection, gaining valuable insight into Finnish companies’ GDPR compliance initiatives before the GDPR came into application. In addition to her law degree from the University of Helsinki, Louna has studied intellectual property law at Hanken. Louna holds a professional certificate on privacy and data protection (CIPP/E).
