Olli Korkeavuori

Olli assists our domestic and international clients with various insolvency and corporate law matters. He advises corporations, creditors, financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders on insolvency proceedings, with a focus on restructuring strategies, distressed asset management, and workout solutions. In addition, Olli provides guidance to clients on a broad range of corporate law matters, with a particular focus on issues that intersect with distressed situations and complex restructuring challenges.

Olli brings a fascinating and unique background to our clients. His career journey began with 15 years as a professional ice hockey player before transitioning into the legal and financial sectors. He holds master’s degrees in both law and economics and is currently pursuing his doctoral thesis on insolvency in corporate restructuring. Before joining Borenius, Olli worked as an Authorised Public Accountant (KHT) in an international audit firm, mainly focusing on special audits. In addition, he has gained valuable professional experience in several law firms and a Big Four audit firm. This rare combination of legal and financial expertise makes him a valuable addition to our clients, especially when they need an in-depth understanding of accounting and economic analysis.
