Saara is a recognised expert in intellectual property litigation with extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution, white-collar crime matters and internal, regulatory and police investigations. In commercial litigation and arbitration, Saara has considerable experience handling high-stakes disputes for leading Finnish and international companies. Her expertise spans contractual disputes, corporate conflicts, and complex multi-party proceedings. She has played a pivotal role in several landmark cases within the field of pharma patent litigation and preliminary injunctions.

Saara advises domestic and international clients on intellectual property litigation, with particular focus on Pharma & Life Sciences. She represents clients in complex intellectual property litigation at every judicial level, from the Market Court through to the Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice. Her practice encompasses patent invalidity and infringement actions, copyright infringement proceedings, preliminary injunction proceedings, damages claims, unfair business practices and trade secret disputes, administrative and regulatory proceedings, and arbitration proceedings related to intellectual property rights. She provides strategic advice on dispute resolution strategies, risk assessment, and the commercial implications of litigation.
