About Sampo
Sampo advises our clients on matters related to restructuring and insolvency as well as tax and company law issues. He focuses on advising companies, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders on a variety of insolvency proceedings, with a particular emphasis on restructuring matters, distressed situations, and workouts.
Sampo joined Borenius in 2017 and has since then worked in both our restructuring & insolvency and tax practices. Prior to joining Borenius, he worked as a lawyer at an independent Finnish tax consultancy firm and in the restructuring and insolvency practice of another prominent Finnish law firm. From 2010 to 2013, Sampo gained experience at a management consulting company.
In addition to his law degree from the University of Turku, Sampo holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Turku School of Economics. He is currently writing his Doctor of Laws dissertation at the University of Turku.
