We assisted a Finnish publicly listed industrial company with an internal investigation that related to a suspected act of bribery in its business activities by certain senior employees of the company and its foreign subsidiary. We assisted the company with the internal investigation and advised on the legal assessment of the suspicious arrangement and communication towards the relevant authorities. The case involved a cross-border element related to e.g. Russia, the United States and the UK. Our employment team also provided employment law advice regarding the employees involved in the suspicious activities.
