Borenius successfully represented a public company’s director in an insider trading case

We successfully represented a former board member and CFO of a Finnish public company in police investigations, and subsequent criminal proceedings, concerning insider trading. The charges concerned selling of the company’s stock options and subscription rights while our client allegedly possessed insider information concerning the company’s production figures and its ability to reach the production guidance. All charges against our client were dismissed.
