Borenius advised Matkahuolto on its EUR 10 million outsourcing arrangement

We assisted Matkahuolto on a EUR 10 million ICT outsourcing project from start to finish, including creating the contractual framework and assisting in negotiations.

Matkahuolto’s strategic aim is to improve its market position and customer expectations via a comprehensive digital transformation. To facilitate the acceleration of its digitalisation streams, Matkahuolto has outsourced the majority of its in-house ICT functions and concluded a master agreement on various future collaboration processes with CGI. By implementing this project, Matkahuolto also seeks to achieve significant cost savings in its ICT expenditure in the future.

Matkahuolto is a road travel and parcel service provider with a turnover of approximately EUR 90 million. Together with its business partners, Matkahuolto’s service network encompasses 2,000 service points nationwide.
