Borenius advised the lenders on a EUR 600 million acquisition financing for Kojamo

We advised Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, Nordea Bank Abp and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) as lenders on a EUR 600 million senior unsecured acquisition financing facility provided to Kojamo plc.

The facility is provided to partly finance Kojamo’s acquisition of a Finnish housing portfolio from Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company. The portfolio consists of 60 residential properties with 4,761 apartments located primarily in the Helsinki, Tampere and Turku metropolitan areas.

The 12-month acquisition facility is expected to be refinanced through capital market debt financing.

Kojamo is Finland’s largest private residential real estate company and one of the biggest investors in Finland. Kojamo’s shares are listed on Nasdaq Helsinki.
