About Mari

Mari advises our clients on real estate law, with a particular focus on transactions in the real estate and energy sectors. Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of real estate matters, including the sale and purchase of commercial and residential properties, portfolio transactions, development projects, and due diligence exercises.

Mari has extensive experience in negotiating complex real estate transactions, including sale and purchase agreements, share deals, and asset deals. In the energy sector, Mari has solid experience conducting transactions and financing due diligence related especially to solar and wind farms. She also provides guidance on contract law, especially relating to commercial lease agreements, land lease agreements, and easement arrangements, as well as advising on real estate-related security arrangements, zoning and planning matters, and matters concerning environmental compliance in real estate contexts.

Mari joined Borenius as an Associate in 2022. In 2023, she completed court training by acting as a Trainee District Judge in the District Court of Kanta-Häme. Prior to her graduation, Mari worked as a trainee at Borenius and other law firms, at the Ministry of Justice, and at a legal aid office, gaining valuable experience across various areas of law.
