We advised Davie, part of Inocea Group, on its acquisition of Enersense Offshore Oy (Enersense Marine and Offshore Unit).

The transaction enables Davie to acquire shares in Enersense Offshore Oy, a heavy steel production specialist operating from the Mäntyluoto shipyard in Pori, ensuring Helsinki Shipyard remains Finland’s only specialised shipbuilder with capabilities from design to delivery.

The acquisition significantly strengthens Helsinki Shipyard’s capacity to build multiple special-purpose vessels simultaneously with market-leading delivery times, supported by steel production in Mäntyluoto.

By combining domestic shipbuilding activities, the transaction boosts the industry and employment in Pori and Helsinki. Notably, this development benefits the Finnish maritime cluster’s economic value as a whole.
