Borenius advised OX2 on the sale of a 400 kV High Voltage Powerline

We advised OX2, the fully integrated provider of renewable energy solutions at scale, and Lestijärven sähköverkko Oy, on the sale of the 55-kilometre 400 kV transmission line between Alajärvi and Lestijärvi completed in 2024 to Fingrid, the Finnish transmission system operator. The transmission line was originally built as a connecting line for the Lestijärvi wind farm, which is under construction by OX2 and will be completed during 2025. The sold transmission line will become part of Fingrid’s new 400 kV transmission line being constructed in Central Ostrobothnia, called the Lowlands Line main grid.
