Åsa practices in the field of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law, marketing law and commercial contracts. She has a broad experience in strategic intellectual property issues, litigation and anti-counterfeit services as well as transactions involving intellectual property.  She continuously advices major international clients in trademark and marketing law related questions and disputes.

Åsa has been the head of the Franchising & Distribution practice group at B&K 2008-2009 and the Marketing law practice group in 2007.

Prior to joining B&K, Åsa worked in a Dutch-based European headquarters of a multinational electronic equipment manufacturer. She has also worked for another Finnish law firm, professional advisory firm and patent and trademark agency.

Åsa is a member of the board of the Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights and of the board of the Finnish Anti-Counterfeiting Group. She lectures nationally and internationally in her fields of interest and she has contributed to international publications in the fields of intellectual property and commercial contracts.
